The Tanzania Peaberry is produced mostly from the northern slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Afirca; grown mainly in central region of Mt. Kenya. African tribesmen originally believed the coffee cherries held magical powers. The tribesmen crushed the cherries and mixed them with fat for strength and endurance during hunting and war.
Tanzania Peaberry has the winey, acidity and bright, hearty character that makes the African coffees some of the most famous in the world.
